On 31st May, we had Initiatives for our last Friday activity of Term 2!:D For this Initiatives, Coy 1 made natural deodorant while Coy 2 made a flower headband:)
For Coy 1, they made deodorant by mixing coconut oil, citrus lemon, baking soda, and corn starch!:D Instead of the spray type deodorant, they learnt how to make the applied type:] They learnt many tips from their ICs as well~
For Coy 2, they made flower headbands from wires, flowers, and yarn! Firstly, bend the wire into a shape that fits your head, then wrap it in yarn:) After that, coil the flowers around the wire to get a flower headband!:D

17th May Guides Activities
Hi Guides!:D
On 17th May, we had our Friday Guides Activities!:D This time the Year 3s were away at OBS, while the Year 2s had their level camp, so only the Year 4s and Year 1s were involved. :)
For 17th May, the objective of the activity was to allow the Year 1s to get to know their batchmates better, so the Year 4s planned a series of fun activities for them!:D At the start, we had icebreakers and some games, followed by Team Building Session, in which the Year 1s had to work together with batchmates from different patrols to successfully finish the 3 stations!:D
Then, we had Physical Training (PT). This was the first PT the Year 1s had since joining Guides:D The Year 1s had to do various PT exercises such as caterpillar walk and circuits. We hope that the Year 1s learnt the importance of morale and perseverance during PT!:D
For next week, the only activity we will be having is Phototaking on 23 May, Thursday!:D See you there!

10th May Guides Activities

On 10th May, we had our Friday Guides Activities!:) On this day, the Year 4s were away for their OBS camp, so the Year 1s, 2s, and 3s had activities conducted by the YAs. :)
The Year 1s and 2s did Outdoor Cooking with solid fuel while the Year 3s had OJ:O As the Year 1s and 2s cooked instant noodles, etc. the Year 3s went through mini KYB (PT), Patrol Activity (PA), and built gadgets such as Patrol Flagpole, Baggage Rack, and Shoe Rack in order to better prepare for PLTC!:D
We hope that everyone got a chance to lead and learn while the Year 4s were away!:]

19th April Guides Activities
Hi Guides!:)
On 19th April, Friday, we had our weekly Guides Activities!:D For 19th April, most Year 2s were involved in Speech Day rehearsal, so we had Patrol Activity (PA) mostly with the Year 3s and Year 1s.
For this PA, every patrol had different activities as we had to prepare our Year 3s for their upcoming PLTC, so it depended on what each patrol still needed to learn or revise! :D Some of the activities we had were Firelighting, Camp Gadgets, Pioneering, Inspection, Outdoor Cooking, etc.
Next week is the Common Test week, so there will be no Guides Activities :( Jiayou for your upcoming CTs! :)
