hi everyone!
what a long time before any post was made! but cant help it, everyone has been very busy ever since school started!
orientation was a blast! it was our first orientation in the field after 2 years ago when we had one. we built alot of structures and we considered ourselves as one of the most impressive orientation cca group! we had a mini campsite, elevated flagpole, mini games like viking ship and catapult etc, a bridge (but became gateway in the end) and nice decos, souveniers and food!
all thanks to the many guides and scouts that contributed to this success! and not forgetting teachers and ventures and rovers. although we received quite a number of punishments and worked until our souls were broken (some even stayed overnight to finish up the work, some came as early as 4+ - 6am during actual orientation day to finish up loose ends!), we had alot of fun on the actual orientation and we cleared up very fast and had a job well done (:
although the process was very teadious, with pumpings and punishments every now and then, working like there's no tomorrow, everything turned out smooth in the end.
and for now, a good news to share! we heard that there were 41 new sec1 guides this year!
last friday was a normal jihe, with evaluation, pt and skills training. we, yr4s, hope that it will serve as a waking call for many of our juniors, as well as ourselves.
lets work hard together and hopefully, make our company better, though the past can never come back.
have a nice school day!
