Hi Guides!
Friday's 集合 was leadership training by the YAs, which was an Obstacle Journey.
Firstly, there was Warm- Up, which consisted of jogging around the school. Afterwards, there was batch Physical Training, where the Year 2s to 4s were separated. Next, the Guides were given 7 min to mass change into their OJ kits and get all the required logistics. Following that, the OJ started!
Station 1
The Patrol Leader (PL) and Patrol Second (PS) of each patrol were given a proposal for a gadget which the Guides had never built before. They had to remain in Physical Training (PT) positions while giving instructions to the rest of the patrol who could not see the proposal. The takeaway from the station was the importance of clear instructions and communication within the patrol, instead of whether or not the patrol was able to complete the impossible task of building the structure within the time limit given.
Station 2
The PL and PS of each patrol were given instructions which had to be relayed to the other patrol members who had to be split into 3 different groups, with 1 group in each classroom. The tasks in all the classrooms were different. The main objective was to test the ability to communicate effectively.
Station 3
The Guides were given 15 min to complete a lot of tasks such as building a shelter, boundary, flagpole, clothes rack, elevate a 配备, boil water and start a signal fire. The aim of the station was to teach the Guides the importance of prioritising, such as to build the shelter first to protect the Guides from the storm.
Station 4
The station revolved around inspection, where only the PL and PS were not blindfolded. The layout was given to the patrol to memorise before starting the inspection. The PL and PS had to give clear instructions and standardise the layout of both patrols. The station also tested the ability of the Guides to spread the workload.
Station 5
In this station, the Guides had to build a roman chariot. Each Guide was assigned to a lash by the PL, and after 3 min and 4 min for square lash and diagonal lash respectively, the Guides had to 集合, regardless of whether or not she had completed the lash.

Thoughts from a Year 4...
Through this OJ, we were reminded of the basic stuff we learnt in Guides such as constant cheering and 报时. It also reminded us the importance of being good role models for our juniors to follow, especially since we are the leadership batch. Overall OJ was very enriching!

Thoughts from a Year 4...
This OJ gave us an opportunity to know our own standards and where we stand amongst the juniors who are in another patrol, which provided us with a sort of benchmark. We saw for ourselves the pros and the cons of our own leadership and gained invaluable feedback on how to improve for the remaining 集合s before Passing Down Parade (PDP).
P3
Thoughts from a Year 4...
This OJ is very unique as we were reshuffled into patrols that consisted of only Year 4s. Besides, this OJ started off with running and batch PT, giving us the chance to bond with our 届. I felt that it was a very enriching OJ as the activities were catered to providing us with a sense of urgency and sorting out our priorities, and also emphasized on teamwork and communication. The rationale behind each station was clear and I learnt a lot of valuable lessons from this.

Thoughts from a Year 4...
I was appointed patrol leader for the first station -- inspection! I do not usually speak up, but this time I had to, moreover, the rest would be blindfolded. Each of us remembered a part of the layout and was in charge of those items. I was a little unsure on the first try but it was better the second time. We learnt about the importance of allocating jobs well, taking more initiative and also good communication.
For the second station, we had to build a Roman chariot within the time limit set by our patrol leader. We were nearly there but there was definitely room for improvement. I learnt to set realistic goals and work hard to achieve them. The third station required us to build a gadget while listening to instructions given by the leaders who were not allowed to help. I think we did fine as our structure stood. Good relay of information and questioning when in doubt were key to the completion of the task. Our patrol was separated into three in the fourth station. Instructions were only disseminated at regular intervals and we did not have much clue to what we were building. Confused at the beginning, keeping the time slipped my mind and one member had to shout across three classrooms. For the final station the scenario brought us to an island. We were met with a number of difficulties and given only fifteen minutes to deal with them. Prioritization was the lesson learnt; to tackle the more urgent problems first and settling the rest afterwards.
Overall, the obstacle journey was not bad. I learnt to speak up and work well in a team. Although this training was not really meant for us but for the year threes, as seniors, we had to improve our standards. After all came to an end, the seniors gave us their feedback. I was glad to hear praises for juniors from our patrol!

Thoughts from a Year 3...
I found warm up quite tiring, especially since I was not used to running such long distances at one go. It was especially taxing on my lungs as I was determined to constantly cheer loud enough for the whole 团 to hear. I think I need to work on my stamina, especially for my lungs.
For batch PT, I think I did quite well and as a batch we managed to 坚持下去. I feel that most of the reason why we were able to do this was because we were together as a batch, cheering each other on. However, it was quite obvious that the same people keeping up the spirit by cheering were the same people because they're voices were quite noticeable while cheering. My stamina could have been better though, because after the first circuit, out of two, my thigh muscles were burning, although our circuit only consisted of jumping jacks, squats, burpees, leg raise and 站马.
I feel that for mass change, I did relatively well because I managed to change in about half a minute. However, I feel like I need to be more familiar with the 配备 and its contents. Since I am now the patrol QM/AQM, I till now am not sure of what goes into the 配备 in what quantities. However, there was this miscommunication which happened in most, if not all of the patrols which only consisted of Year 2s and Year 3s. Before 集合, we (Year 3s) had asked our juniors (Year 2s) to retrieve the 青木 if the YAs asked us to. For some reason, which appears to be miscommunication, our Year 2s 集合-ed empty handed. This could be because our Year 2s forgot what to do in the heat of things, so I feel that I could have reminded them to retrieve the 青木 before going to 团部 to pack the 配备.
Station 1: outside MRL
I feel that my lashes could have been tied a little quicker because although I started late trying to look for 麻绳, I could have tied a tight 4-3 square lash in 2.5-3 minutes. I also feel that we should be aware of our surroundings as during 拆掉 I was hit by a 青木 and fell out to get my wounds treated. I think that this burdened my patrol because of the loss of manpower. However, I think this has put the point of safety across to my juniors, which is really important.
Station 2: Block G level 3
Since I fell out at the end of the last station, I missed a bit of this station so I wasn't quite sure of what was going on at that time. However, I am quite proud of myself for tying a relatively tight square lash in 1.5 minutes on gadget poles, minus the 绕. I feel like I could have been taking better care of our patrol logistics as I turned just in time to see a YA kup our FAP, which is really important. We also asked for multiple time extensions, and I feel like our PL and PS were really frustrated that we still didn't manage to complete the structure. I was also quite worried by how incomplete our structure was, until I found out that it would have been impossible to complete within the time given.
Station 3: Block F level 6
I think that I did quite well personally for this station, except for the fact that I did not press the button on my watch so we only had one person who 记时-ed across the three classrooms the patrol was split up into.
Station 4: GSL
This station was quite overwhelming as we had to complete many tasks at once. I felt that my firelighting skills could be improved as although my first fire took me only 5 or so matches, my second fire took me much more, which is ridiculous for Year 3 standard.
Station 5: GSL level 2
For this station, I feel that perhaps I could have had more initiative and asked for something to do or tried to do something instead of standing around at calling for my PL/PS, and waiting for her to give me something to do.
P6
Thoughts from a Year 2...
At the first station, the PLs were given a proposal and they have to describe the structure to us and the rest of us will build the structure. Halfway through the station, we realized that we ran out of 白绳. In the end, we were not able complete the structure within the time limit. I could tie my lashes tighter but also under the standard timing given for the lash.
At the second station, there were 3 classrooms with gadget poles in each one. Only the PL and PS were given the instructions and they would tell us the structure to build in each classroom. Every 2 minutes, the station master would tell the PL and PS another set of instructions and they would convey it to us. Our patrol did not manage to complete the structures that the station master has proposed. I learnt to communicate with my patrol mates better as we were all split into 3 classrooms and we have to find a way to convey the message to the whole patrol.
In the 3rd station, we had inspection but everyone was blindfolded except the PL and the PS. We were very confused and were not able to lay out all of our logistics in the time limit. When we lay out the logistics the second time, we did better as we were told what to do before we were blindfolded. I learnt that I should not just rely on my PL and PS who were not blindfolded but also help my patrol as I can still help lay out even if I am blindfolded.
In the forth station, we were given a scenario where we were stranded on an island. We had to build signal fire, boil water, build boundary in a circle with the flag in the middle and also build a shelter for the whole patrol and elevate the 配备. It was very disappointing as our patrol only managed to finish the boundary. I learnt to prioritize and do the more important things like building the shelter first before doing the less important things like building the signal fire.
At the last station, we had to build a structure similar to roman chariot but with two diagonal 红木. We were told to 集合 after 3 minutes if we were tying square lash and 集合 after 4 minutes if we were tying diagonal lash. We took very long to 集合 during the first time as the lashes were not done. We did better the second time but some lashes were loose. I learnt to not only tie the lashes in standard timing but also tie it tighter.
Thoughts from a Year 3...
We 集合-ed at the GSL in our coy tee and shorts. We did some warm ups first and ran one round around the entire perimeter of the school and later were split into our batches to do a set of circuits. This was probably the best PT I've ever done. All the Y3s were cheering really loudly and it was a non-stop cheering! As compared to about a year ago when we were prompted to cheer, now everyone was fighting to cheer! (: It really was a great feeling and so the strain of the PT wasn't even felt anymore!
Next, we were split into our OJ patrols and were given 7 mins to change into our OJ kit and pack our 配备 as well. Almost everyone reached the GSL on time, however most of the patrols didn't have their 青木s. And what was worst was that most of the Year 3s didn't realise that and so it took quite a while before we instructed our Year 2s to take from backstore. This lack of communication resulted in a lot of havoc and we should avoid such things from happening next time.
1: At this station, I was the PL. We were given a very complicated gadget proposal and were told to complete it within 15 mins. Both the PL and PS had to be in pumping position and that meant that we couldn't help our patrol. I gave out instructions to my patrol mates but most of them were quite lost because they couldn't picture what the structure looked like. While two people worked on the ladder, the others started on the main frame. The whole scene was very rowdy with many people not knowing exactly what to do. And even after quite a few time extensions, the structure wasn't completed. We then had to pump 20 for not completing the structure. For this station, I thing the key thing they tested on was how we relayed instructions to our patrol mates and how to build what first in a structure. I think if given a bit more time, we might have been able to get the structure to stand stably.
2: For this station, no instructions were given to the rest of the patrol members and only the PL and PS knew what to do. We were first told to build tripods in the three different classrooms. Most of us were very lost but we just did as we were told. They called out the PL and PS every 2 mins and from what I heard, another new set of instructions were given, meaning that we had to 拆掉 some of our structures. Every 2 mins, the instructions became more and more complex and hard to comprehend. I honestly think the PL did a rather good job of relaying the instructions to us for every room and also remaining calm at the same time. For this station, even though we didn't manage to finish our structures, we learnt the importance of communication and the ability of coping with pressure and stress.
3: We were given 15 minutes to build a shelter for our entire patrol, a flag pole, mark out our boundary, make a signal fire, boil water, and make a structure to elevate our 配备. I was the PS for this station and it was A LOT to digest and the station master only said it once. The PL was quite lost and so I had to instruct my patrol mates what to do. It was very chaotic and the lack of space meant that everything was very cramped. In the end, we only marked out our boundary, build our flag pole and boiled water. Our shelter was very loose and there were holes in our poncho. We didn't prioritise our tasks and that is to build the shelter first. The aim of this station isn't to finish all the tasks because it was quite impossible but rather to test how well we are able to identify which tasks is of higher importance, which we didn't identify accurately.
4: We had an inspection at this station but with a twist: only the PL and PS could see. The rest of the patrol was blindfolded. We were first given 3 mins to lay out everything. It was very messy and I didn't really do much because my PL didn't give me any instructions even though I asked her. And because the PL and PS couldn't touch the stuff, they had to instruct someone else to and that made it all the more challenging. We failed the first time and our layout was very messy. We then redid the whole thing but this time roles were allocated to the respective patrol mates. So after break off, we immediately knew what to do without having the PL to tell us. So the PL and PS guided us along while we arranged the stuff. The final result was quite okay but we could have compacted more.
5: We had to build a roman chariot for this station. Time limits were set by our PL and we had to accomplish them respectively. It was 3 mins for square lash and 4 mins for diagonal lash. So by the 3rd min, those tying square lash had to 集合 and so on. At the first go, we failed miserably due to not laying out the mu properly at the start. Our lashes were really loose and most were not completed. We 拆掉 and re did everything. In the second round, things were better and since I finished my lash early, I went on to tie another one since there were nine lashes to tie and we only had seven people excluding the PL. But because some of the 麻绳 was quite short, most of our lashes weren't standard. This station taught us the importance of sense of urgency and how we should keep to the time limit set by the PL.
Overall for this OJ, it was a very enriching experience. It wasn't like normal OJ where you carried out normal stuff. This OJ really tested us a lot on our leadership skills and how versatile we are. Most of the tasks weren’t actually possible to complete within the time limit but the aim wasn't to get us to finish the task in the first place but rather to test on our soft skills and see how well we cope with circumstances. I’ve learnt to better communicate between my batchmates and Year 2s so that further communication barriers will be avoided.

Thoughts from a Year 3...
For this OJ, we were split into new patrols. This itself already poses a challenge as we were not familiar with other patrols' 小队箱s, yet are supposed to pack our 配备s from our new patrols' 小队箱s, to avoid confusion. However, my new patrol was P7 and luckily for us, our patrol consisted of a member from the original P7, so there wasn't much of a problem. We were given 7 minutes after break-off to mass change into OJ kit and get our needed logistics. This turned out to be a disaster when some patrols did not take 青木s, as there was miscommunication within the 团. As such, there was a lot of confusion and a lot of time was wasted, resulting in us 过时-ing heavily. The 团 had to be in pumping position as we waited for the rest of the people to come back with 青木, and it was after a long time that every patrol finally had their 青木s required for the OJ.
For my patrol, we had to go through the order of stations as such: 2>3>4>5>1, together with P2. I was the PL for stations 2 and 4, and the PS for station 1.
In Station 2, the patrol was split into 3 groups and had to carry out 3 activities in 3 separate classrooms concurrently. The PL and PS were to report to the station master(s) every 2 minutes to receive instructions on what to build for each activity. At first, I was very confused and by the time we received our third set of instructions, it felt as if my brain was going to explode. There were too many instructions I had to take in and remember at the same time, putting me in a somewhat panicky state. I wasn't able to lead my patrol well and make sure they know what is going on as a result. Thankfully, my PS was there to go through the stress with me. Afterwards, I tried to note down the instructions given for each structure. This made things a lot clearer and made the task of conveying the instructions to each group much easier. Towards the end of the activity, however, we exceeded the time limit by a whole minute. This was due to a lack of concept of time of the patrol, and also the lack of 报时ing. Also, it was quite disappointing to see the structures being left unfinished. However, after the debrief, it was clear that the aim of this station wasn't to train how fast we complete our tasks, but rather how we cope with stress and react under chaotic situations, as well as communication skills.
For Station 3, we were to build a signal fire, a shelter to protect everyone from a thunderstorm, boil water, build a flagpole, mark out the boundary (making sure it is a perfect circle) and to build a clothes rack which can also elevate the 配备。 I was in charge of lighting the signal fires, and took a very long time to do so as flames from match sticks go off super quickly, and I did it outdoors. Luckily, our seniors from P2 suggested using lighters and doing it indoors. This indeed worked, however, after a long time as the solid fuels took very long to catch a reasonable size of flame. I learnt from this not to blindly stick by the conventional methods, but to change my ways to ensure things progress in time. However, I still wasn't able to produce large amounts of smoke for a signal fire even after dousing it with water, as this method only works for kindlings, which were not available at that time. At the end of the 15-minute time limit, we only had a tripod with nettings done to elevate our 配备, flames in an equilateral triangle and a flagpole up. This station tests us on our prioritization, which was clearly lacking as we attempted the signal fire, flagpole and clothes rack first, when by right these should be of lower priority as compared to boiling water as water hydrates us and make us able to work, and the shelter, which protects us from the storm.
In Station 4, we had Inspection. We were given a minute to discuss the layout amongst patrols and strategize on how we plan to do it. The patrol members were then blindfolded, except for the PLs and PSs, but the PLs and PSs were not allowed to touch the layout. For the first attempt, 3 minutes were given to lay out the stuff. For subsequent attempts, 4 minutes were given, and then 5. I was really quite proud of our patrol as our layout looked neat for every attempt even with the patrol members blindfolded. From this station, I learnt the importance of giving clear instructions, especially when the patrol members are handicapped, so that they would not be so confused as to what to do and what is going on.
Station 5 was the constructing of a Roman Chariot, where each of us were to tie a single lash within the time limit that our PLs set for ourselves. Before tying, we were given 1 minute to take the necessary measurements and put the 木s in place. 3 minutes were given for a square lash and 4 minutes were given to tie a diagonal lash. When the time for our lash is up, we were to 集合 back to the station master. This tests us on our sense of urgency so that our subsequent activities would not be compromised. I also learnt to not take time extensions for granted as it is not every time that the time extension will be given when you ask for it.
Lastly, Station 1 was the station where the PL and PS had to be in leg raise position while giving instructions on building a never-before-seen creative gadget. Even though we were not able to finish the gadget due to the short amount of time given, it was a fruitful and fresh experience being totally unable to physically build the structure. From this station, I learnt to give clearer instructions as only the PL and PS have the proposal, while patrol members are not sure of what to do and how the structure would turn out to be like.
Overall, this OJ wasn't tough on the physical aspect, but it trained our minds and allowed us to grow in endurance and turn stress into motivation. This OJ tested heavily on our soft skills, and I believe we have indeed emerged as better and stronger leaders through the course of this YA leadership training.
Thoughts from a Year 3...
Batch PT was quite fun and not that tiring. However, when we were doing the second circuit of PT, we could start to feel the soreness on our thighs. We went through this PT together, cheering super loudly and also remembered to 报时 which was good.
After batch PT, we had to run around the whole school. It sounded tiring to me at first, especially after doing PT that involved more of our legs. We cheered loudly and our morale was very high throughout the run which helped us to successfully complete the run.
Mass change + pack 配备:
We were given 7 mins to mass change and pack 配备 as well as take 青木 from the backstore. We were generally quite fast and allocated our manpower well. Eventually, we still 过时-ed by a lot mainly because of confusion of who to take 青木. We should better communicate as a whole 团 so that such communication error will not happen again.
Station 1:
The lash that i tied was tied within the time limit but i feel that i should have tied the lash tighter and not compromise on the tightness just to meet the time limit.
Station 2:
In this station i as the PL and i had to give clear instructions while doing leg raise. I should have ensured that my leg raise was standard as i tend to forget that i am doing PT while i am giving instructions. My instructions could have been clearer, although i felt that i allocated the manpower quite well to do 2 main frames at the same time. The juniors have to work on their lashes as they took almost 6 mins to tie the 2 frames which was only 4 square lashes.
Station 3:
I feel that i should ask the PL what's the big picture so as to get a sense of what we needed to do. The lashes that I tied with 2 other people were generally tight and fast and we also remembered to cheer and 报时 which is good. However, we should 集合 on time when the time is up and not only go and 集合 when there's no more time.
Station 4:
this station was a bit chaotic as many tasks had to be done in 15 min. We should have prioritised better and complete the more important and urgent tasks like building a shelter and boiling water instead of trying to compete them concurrently
Station 5:
The PL and PS generally gave clear instructions to us and we strategised well on how we should go about laying out our items as most of us were blindfolded. We were well prepared in the sense that we already memorised the layout before 集合-ing and this helped us to standardise our layout with the other patrol and we just had to focus on laying out our items neatly.

Thoughts from a Year 3...
For this Friday's 集合, it was YA training. Firstly, we had a warm-up as a 团 which is running one round around the school. Even though, it is a little tiring, we still had fun cheering along the way and all of us pia-ed through this warm up. Cheering help us to keep up our morale and we completed one round very quickly. Then, we had batch pt at level 2 GSL. We needed to complete 2 sets of 20 jumping jacks, 10 squats, 3 mins leg raise and 3 mins 站马. All of us were taking turns to cheer to the extent of even competing.:) But,this makes the batch pt very fun and we all could manage to pia through the whole pt. All of us cheered loudly and this keeps the spirit very high for the whole pt. Then, we had OJ. We had to go and mass change and pack our logistics for OJ. The year 2s were in charge of taking the 青木s while the year 3s helped in the packing of 配备. We asked for time extension but as the whole 团 was still not present after the first time extension ended, we remained in pumping position. We could all have a better sense of urgency and need not ask for too much time extension. Then, was OJ.
Our first station is, at the GSL. We were given a series of instructions on what we had to build in 15 mins. We split the patrol into 2 where some started on the flagpole and some on the distress fire and boiling water. We were then told to 集合 as the senior said we did not have a sense of urgency. We also asked for time extension but we still failed to complete everything. We were then briefed that the main purpose of this station was to test on on how we prioritise our time. We learnt that we should have built the shelter first to protect ourselves and the flagpole the last as it is not that important.
Station 2 was at level 2 of GSL. We had blindfolded inspection. All of us were allowed to read through the inspection layout before everyone blindfolded themselves except the PL and PS. We had to layout everything within the time limit but as we failed to do so and even 集合-ed back late, we had to pump 20. We then packed everything back and then had to layout again. This time, the seniors gave us some suggestions on how to improve. But the same problem of 集合-ing back late still happened and we had to pump. But,this time, we improved on our layout. We were then given one more chance to improve on our layout. We completed it in time and we learnt alot through the suggestions of the seniors. We had to communicate among ourselves and the PL should not be the only one doing everything.
Station 3 was at the MRL. The PL was given instructions on what we had to do which was basically building a Roman chariot. We had 3 mins to tie a square lash and 4 mins to tie a diagonal lash before all of us 集合-ed back. All of our lashes were either not tight or not completed. We were then given one more chance but we still failed to complete it. We were pumped 20 for our lack of sense of urgency and loose lashes.
Station 4 was at Block G level 3. The PL and PS were given the proposal and they told us what we L and PS had to remain in pumping position or leg raise. Communication between the patrol was very important. We did not manage to complete the whole structure and were pumped for our lack of sense of urgency.
Last station was Block F level 6. There were 3 classrooms and we splited the patrol up. The PL and PS were given instructions once at a time on what to do in each classroom. We did mother manage to complete all the instructions and it was also due to the lack of time left for this station. However, we learnt that the main objective is to communicate among the patrol so everyone could be sure of what to do.
That was then the end of OJ before we kept the 配备 and logistics back to 团部. All of us learnt a lot and to also have a better sense of urgency.

Thoughts from a Year 3...
For friday's 集合, we had YA skills training. For the first part we had physical training. As a warm up, we had to run one round around the school with a YA leading in the run. After that, we split into our 届 to have further warm ups. One person from our 届 had to step out to lead in the warm ups. Next, we had to do circuits. The circuit consisted of 20 jumping jacks, 15 burpees, 10 squats, 3 min leg raise and 3 min 站马. We had to do the circuit twice. After that, we 集合-ed at the GSL and awaited further instructions. Next, we were give 7 min to mass change into our OJ kit, pack our 配备and get our 青木. However, due to some miscommunications, we 过时-ed a lot. After that, we were given our patrol pairings. P1 with P6, P2 with P7, P3 with P8, P4 with P9 and P5 with P10. For our patrol, new members joined us as our patrol had insufficient manpower for the OJ. Our station sequence was 5, 1, 2, 3, 4.
For our first station, it was located outside MRL. Only the PLs were allowed to see the proposal. For the first minute we were given we had to take the necessary measurements and brief the patrol. After that, we had to finish each lash in the structure within a time limit. Square lash 3.5mins and diagonal lash 4.5 mins. It turns out that the structure resembled a roman chariot and we had to use it to transport people. However, our structure did not really have a trapezium shape and we had to redo it in the same time limitations. I think this station really tested us on our sense of urgency and our lashes quality.
For the next station, it was at lvl 3 of block G. The YAs gave the PL and PS a proposal which only they could view and not the rest of the patrol. The PL and PS had to give instructions to the patrol while doing PT items, hence restricting their movements. The structure to be built resemble a 2 storey structure with a ladder. This station tested us on our decision making. This was to see whether the PL and PS could weigh the importance of the different parts of the structure and find out the priorities. Unfortunately, our structure was not able to stand. Also, we ran out of 白绳. Instead of removing 白绳 from our previously built ladder, we could have taken the ones on our ling ling long long or borrow from other patrols.
As for the next station it is at level 6, block F. We had to build some structures in 3 classrooms. After every few minutes, the PL will be called out and a new set of instructions will be given to her to tell the patrol of what to build next. This station is about having a sense of urgency and also having a good manpower allocation as it is best to have at least 1 year 3 in each classroom so that she will be able to help the year 2s. However, we did not manage to build finish any of the structures and we were often a few instructions behind. I feel that we could have worked and tie faster and also allocate our manpower properly.
The next station is at the GSL where we had to do a series of things: build a signal fire, boil water, build a shelter and also marked our boundary with a 旗杆. This station is about prioritising what we required to do. The proposed sequence is: building shelter, boiling water, building the 旗杆 and lastly, building a signal fire. Apart from the shelter, we managed to finish the rest. I feel that we should have prioritize properly and do the necessary things first before doing the redundant (eg. The shape of the boundary) ones.
For the last station, it was at level 2 above GSL. This station is about inspection and we had to lay out all our things as seen in the proposal which the YAs have drawn out. However, this inspection was different from what we always did. Apart from the PL, everyone were blindfolded. It was only after a few minutes when the PS can also take out her blindfold. This station is about having a sense of urgency and is also about allocating our manpower properly. Unfortunately, we did not manage to lay out everything according to the proposed layout in time. I feel that we could have allocated one person to be in charge of 1- 2 items instead of just asking them to memorise the layout.
