STC(:

STC!
heyy guides! STC was just one week ago and I can still remember all the fun times we had had together!(: It was tiring and all that but we sure had fun together!

1st day...
jihe with peibei, first aid kit and etc etc. built a kitchen table, tripod aka rubbish bin, then we brought everything to the field! set up a kitchen tent and eureka! everything is done. for now.

the clouds seemed to be against us. it was raining cats and dogs. the rain stopped...and it started again.and stopped....and started. and stopped and started and stopped and started...yeah the cycle went on and on and on. then we bult a "stove". and the year 1s competed against each other. first one to run finish a round around the track wins and chooses the additional snack for her patrol. and then...LUNCH TIME!(:

then there was a period of time when we had to "demolish" our kitchen table etc. but then again. it was raining. LIGHTNING ALERT!!

after lunch, it was patrol activity. due to the rain, it was held indoor. and next was PT. PT was rather special today as it was sort-of a OJ but has lesser stations. this time, without the year 4s, it was much more difficult then the previous OJ but we managed to finish it unscathed, with the leadership of the sec3s.
after PT, we were dismissed!

If it didnt rain, things might have went a little smoother, but off to the second day!

2nd day...
had the real OJ. there were 4 stations again and this time round was harder then the one yesterday. it was really a test of your fitness level. but everyone did a good job. thumbs up!!
then we had lunch. after which, was the prize presentation of the OJ.

then, the company was divided into our own group, namely pioneering and decoration after which was dismissal.

Reflections
through these two days, i had learnt a lot such as team work is very important. without my guides mates, i wouldn't be able to go through all this stations and let alone building structures like the kitchen tent.

also, we must always be prepared to do anything. nothing is too hard to do. nothing is impossible. we just need to step out of our comfort zomes and give everything a try(:

and we must always be SWIFT! must always be running from place to place. also, take good care of your belongings unless you want it to be kupped. and never ever leave your guides mates behind. we must always take care of each other.

altogether, i am really very happy as this event had made us even more bonded than ever.(:

cheers!
