Hello all :)
Yesterday 20 guides, 13 year 3s and 7 years 2s went for the Victoria School's Arrow Scout Group's 70th campfire. Their theme was Masquerade and we saw many different schools there.
Firstly, we met at Vs where we waited for the campfire to start. We were then led to the rooftop where the campfire was. Their gateway was nice and soon we settled down in our seats.
We did the Adiji Yell, and sang many campfire songs like Campfire's burning. Moonlight Bay and By the Blazing Council Firelight. We also learnt new songs that we had never sang before. Some guides also danced the 'Hello Ketal Dance' where they had to dance with a scout who asked them to dance and it was really fun seeing them dance :)
We played games like Scavengerhunt and 'Dont forget the lyrics' too. It was quite fun and we even won some prizes too!
After the games, we sang more songs and everybody who were present there stood in a big circle. Everyone there singing their hearts out and forging new bonds between new people that they didn't know.
Soon, it was the end of the campfire. Thanks to VS for inviting us again.
Yesterday night was really memorable. All of us had fun there and we enjoyed ourselves. We took many photos, we cheered and it was great singing those songs :)
Happy holidays :)
Love DHS guides! :D
