Yesterday, it was the second jihe for the year1s and our Combined UG Campfire. The year2s taught the year1s some of the basic knots and lashes while the year3s had to complete their creative product that they came up with before this jihe within a certain time. Some of the products that the year3s made were creative however there were still areas of improvement such as stability of it and the practicality of it. The objectives of creating a new and different gadget was to allow the year3s to think out of the box and use their creativity to build something different besides the usual gadgets we build and also to allow the year1s to see different gadgets that can be build just by using the knots that they learnt and gadget poles. After skills training, we had patrol corner whereby PLs taught the patrol on campfire songs, cheers and mass dance to prepare for the campfire. After dinner, we proceed to hall for our campfire.

This year's campfire theme is "home away from home". We were honoured to have our school principal joining us in this campfire as well as the teachers and seniors. Everyone had lots of fun singing together around the campfire, dancing and cheering together, spending the night together as one whole big family. We hope that the year1s enjoyed the campfire as much as we did and "Welcome of our UG family and enjoy the following years in UG"
