Hi Guides =)

Today, the Year 1s and Year 2s jihe'd in the usual ji-he area while the Year 3s had their COJ.

Then, the Year 1s and Year 2s were separated into their own jie and each jie went to their respective meeting places for their activities.

The Year 2s headed to classroom 3D and we had a quiz on our seniors. We were supposed to write down as many seniors (in their patrols) as we can remember, and if possible, their classes. Each correct class written down would receive one bonus point. Congratulations to P6 for winning the quiz with a score of 55 points! I think that we should put in more effort to remember all our seniors names and classes~

After that, we were briefed on the charity event held by Scouts and Guides. We also did an activity involving thriftiness, and the planning of usage of our money next week. Lastly, we wrote down a resolution each in the area of Money, Time, Utilities and Food. We are to hand in the worksheet (with the resolutions) with our parent's signature, stating that we have completed the resolutions, to Miss Ngau on the 3rd of April.

Next, we jihe'd at the General Science Lab Area for PT briefing. The Year 2s were then divided into 3 groups- Group 1, Group 2 and Group 3. Each group had 3 stations to complete.

For Group 2, we first went to the 6th floor for our first station. We were told to ding boy style pumping position while one person at a time memorizes a code and commando crawls to one of the year 4s to tell her the code. If any of us memorizes the code wrongly, we would have to perform several kung-fu actions until the next person arrives. If we get the code correct, we run back and continue to ding boy style pumping position. We could also change positions if necessary.

After completing the checkpoint, we then ran down to the first floor, to the General Science Lab area, for our next checkpoint. We were then separated into 2 and the given instructions were to run to the opponent's side to play scissors-paper-stone. Winners continue running but the loser returns to her line. In the meantime, the rest of the group does leg raise.

After finishing the second checkpoint, we ran to the basketball court to complete our final checkpoint of the day. In this checkpoint, we were supposed to step over a series of benches before running to a table. At the table, we must use our mouthes to dig for a gummy sweet located in a pile of flour, before running back to the benches and stepping over them again. Then, we had to pump 10 times before ding-ing girl style pumping position.

Then, we were supposed to zhan ma while passing a message along from the start to the end of the group. Anyone not doing standard zhan-ma would be coated in flour.

After that, we got back to our jie and jihe'd. The seniors then gave us 10 minutes to come up with a short skit which must contain the words Genie, Yoga, Frog, Guides, etc. After coming up with the skit, we were given 8 minutes to perform it to our seniors. I feel that the skit was quite funny. However, we were all too soft and too far away from the seniors for them to hear us.

Finally, we got our consequences for not wearing the proper attire while attending Guides. Let's all jiayou and try to pull our socks up (both literally and figuratively) in the area of attire. I'm sure that we can do it =)

Jiayou for the next Guides jihe! =)
