集合, 19th July

Hello everyone:D

On 19th July, we had our weekly 集合. We split into two groups to tie kitchen tents. Kitchen tents are sheltered places that, as its name suggests, serves as a kitchen for us to carry out Outdoor Cooking without fear of the rain or sun. It also serves as a shelter for us to put our other camp gadgets, such as kitchen dresser, baggage rack and clothesline. As the field area allocated to us could not accommodate all the ten patrols, we split up into two groups.  P3, P7, P8, P9 and P10 were in the first group while P1, P2, P4, P5 and P6 were in the second.

Hence, P3, P7, P8, P9 and P10 proceeded to the field to tie their kitchen tents while P1, P2, P4, P5 and P6 had Patrol Activity. Later on, the activities were switched, with P1, P2, P4, P5 and P6 tying the kitchen shelter and P3, P7, P8, P9 and P10 having Outdoor Cooking at the General Science Lab area.

Although there were some hiccups in the activities today, we left with valuable experience from what we had learnt during the building of the kitchen shelter and Patrol Activity/Outdoor Cooking.
